Programming a Trackpad

Picture: Fabián Rodríguez

When I was first introduced to the Magic TrackPad, I was a bit hesitant to use it partly due to the familiarity of working with the mouse and partly since it resembled of the touchpad in my laptop which I never use (I use a USB Mouse instead).
However after playing with it for sometime I loved it, I loved it to the extent that I am trying to be a bit more friendly with the touchpad in my laptop, but it lacked the sleekness and above that the features of an apple product. The most useful feature in the Magic Trackpad is that you can find the meaning of any word presented in HTML by just placing the cursor on top of the word and pressing it with three fingers, the definition pops up; This feature is not available in my touchpad, so the only option available for me is program my embedded touchpad. However the Success or the failure of this feature will be left to the future.

P.S: Eureka! According to a blog post in one of the popular Technology blogs 'Digital Inspiration', you can sync the Trackpad with a Windows PC.
